Support our Work

Beloved Community starts with Good Neighbors

Picture
In 2023, we built a community partnership built on the principles of mutual aid to address systemic want in Camp Hill, Alabama. Under this model, we are a coalition of neighbors helping neighbors, and thanks to the commitment of good neighbors around East Alabama, we have become a mighty powerhouse for building beloved community. Our annual Oak Street Appeal ensures that we are able to build upon last year's successes to address even more unmet needs in Camp Hill.
What We did in 2025
  • Shared 38 tons of food (same weight as 12 fully-loaded F150s!) to 221 neighbors in need through our weekly food pantry.
  • Delivered 32,640 lbs of food to low income senior citizens through monthly food boxes.
  • Helped repair four roofs in Camp Hill.
  • Gave away $10,000 in material support through our free household goods markets.
What We Plan to Do in 2026
  • Continue our food pantry and senior box programs at their current level.
  • Expand our feeding program to include summer food boxes for area families with school children.
  • Open shower and laundry facilities for unhoused or housing insecure neighbors.
How You Can Partner
